First things first: what is a wage garnishment?
Wage garnishment is a legal process that requires employers to deduct money from an employee’s wages for the payment of a debt in accordance with a court or agency order. These deductions are governed by the garnishment order (also called liens) and other applicable rules, laws and procedures, and generally continue until the debt, and in some cases interest, is fully paid or a release is received.
Your employer has chosen ADP to manage and process wage garnishment orders and disburse wage garnishment payments to the relevant payees on its behalf.

To help make that process transparent and convenient, ADP provides you with a web and mobile solution called myADP to put all the information you need at your fingertips.
You can download the myADP app from the Google Play™ or Apple® App storeSM, or visit myADP. There are two ways to register. If we have your email in our database, you can simply provide your email address. Otherwise, you will need to provide your Organizational Registration Code (ORC) found in your Employee Notification Letter, in addition to your Social Security Number (SSN).
With myADP, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week you can:
- View deduction details and payment history
- Review information from wage garnishment orders
- Upload a modification or release of the garnishment order
- Set notifications and reminders for payments, refunds, order modifications and releases
- Chat in real time with an ADP representative to answer your questions or help resolve issues
