What are Contractor Central's supported browsers?

Make sure you are using a supported Internet Browser to run Contractor Central*:

  • Chromium Edge*
  • Chrome

*Internet Explorer (all versions) are sunsetted by Microsoft as of 8/17/21.

Pop-up Blockers must be turned off for https://www.idicontractorcentral.com.

How can I increase the font on my Contractor Central screen?

Want to make the font bigger on Contractor Central's User Interface?

Here's how:

  • Hold the Ctrl Key down and use the mouse scroll bar to increase/decrease the font on your screen.

Note: This will increase the font size for all web apps.

How do I reset my Contractor Central password?

If you forget your Contractor Central password, to reset it all you need to do is select the “Reset Password” on the login page underneath the Password field:

A pop-up box will appear where you will place your username, and then you will click the Reset Password button:

Shortly after completing the previous steps you should receive an email from Industry Solutions support with a temporary password. Once you receive this enter the temporary password into the Password Field and click the login button:

You will then be asked to set a new password for yourself for the next time you login.

Please note the reset password button is a "short lock". If you have trouble logging in the password will be active again in 5 minutes. Please attempt to log in again after 5 minutes.

What email address should I use for my Contractor Central account?

When selecting an email address to use for your Contractor Central account, we recommend using your company email address to sign up for a Contractor Central user account as it is easier to manage lists and permissions and provide support when all the users in your company have the same identifiable email extension.

How do I Add an Entity to my Contractor Central access?

To add an entity to Contractor Central use the following steps:

  1. Log into Contractor Central.
  2. Click Organizational Administration on the left-hand side of the screen.
  3. Select the Entities tab.
  4. At the bottom of the window you will see the option to manually enter a new entity or import a full list of entities.
